Xi'an: Terracotta Army, museums and the airport metro

Terracotta Army

秦始皇帝陵博物院（兵马俑）

• Book online in advance with your passport, on the museum's official site or WeChat account. Avoid resellers.
• ¥120 all year. The ticket covers both the Terracotta Army pits and Lishan Garden (the mausoleum), and a free shuttle links the two.
• Allow about 3 hours.
• Opening hours change by season, and the museum's own pages give different season dates. Check the official site.
• Enter by the north gate at your booked time.

Shaanxi History Museum

陕西历史博物馆

• Free, but you still need a timed ticket booked with your passport on the museum's WeChat account.
• Tickets open 5 days ahead at 17:00 and go fast.
• A no-show can get you blocked for 180 days, so cancel if plans change.
• Until 14 Nov: 8:30–19:00 (last check-in 18:00).
• National Day (1–7 Oct): 7:30–20:30.
• Metro: Xiaozhai (Lines 2/3) or Dayanta (Lines 3/4).
• The Tang Murals gallery is extra and ticketed separately.

City Wall

• The South Gate (Yongningmen) is open 8:00–22:00.
• Check the current price on the official channel before you go.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda

大雁塔

• In Da Ci'en Temple 大慈恩寺. Dayanta metro station (Lines 3/4) is nearby.
• Check current hours and tickets on site.

From the airport

• Metro Line 14 now stops right at Terminal 5 (Airport T5 station). Airport West station serves T1–T3.
• Foreign-card POS machines are available at the T5 station.
