Giant Panda Base

成都大熊猫繁育研究基地

• Book on the base's official WeChat account up to 14 days ahead. Use your passport, one ticket per person.
• Adults ¥55. Visitors 60+ and small children (6 or under, or under 1.3 m) are free.
• Mar–Oct: morning entry from 7:30, afternoon entry until 17:00.
• Getting there: Metro Line 3 to Panda Avenue (exit A), then shuttle bus 408 to the South Gate. Or Line 3 to Junqu Zongyiyuan (exit B), then shuttle 409 to the West Gate.
• National Day week: online booking only, with daily caps. The West Gate is recommended.

Wuhou Shrine and Jinli

武侯祠 · 锦里

• ¥50. Book up to 14 days ahead on the museum's official site or WeChat account, with your passport.
• Jinli old street is right next door.
• Metro Line 10, Wuhouci (Jinli) station, exit A2, about 3 minutes' walk.
• Opening hours differ between the museum's own pages. Check the official site on the day.

Dujiangyan and Mount Qingcheng Day trip

都江堰 · 青城山

• Book on the official “青城山都江堰” WeChat account. Foreign visitors choose passport and use the staffed gate.
• Dujiangyan is open 8:00–18:00 (Mar–Dec). Allow about 3 hours.
• Check prices on the official site before you go.

Leshan Giant Buddha Day trip

乐山大佛

• Part of the Mount Emei and Leshan Giant Buddha World Heritage site.
• Check tickets and booking on the official scenic-area channel before you go.

From the airport

Chengdu has two airports: Shuangliu (CTU) and Tianfu (TFU).

Shuangliu (CTU)

• Metro Line 10 stops at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
• Lines 19 and 30 stop at “Shuangliu Airport Terminal 2 East” (T2, level B2).
• Taxis wait about 50 m south of Door 6 at T1 arrivals and at the T2 arrivals crosswalk.

Tianfu (TFU)

• Follow signs to the Ground Transportation Centre (GTC).
• Metro Line 19 is on level L1.
• Taxis and ride-hailing cars also leave from the GTC.
