Do the arrival card before you reach the desk if you can. Keep the hotel address in Chinese on your phone.
Many airports have payment-service desks. Make a tiny test payment once Alipay or WeChat is bound.
For the ride into town, use DiDi China: Ride Hailing, the DiDi mini program inside Alipay, an official airport bus, or rail. Do not get into an unlicensed car.
